From the first order to the closing count.
- 01
Seat them
Lay out your floors and tables once. After that the floor shows which tables are free, how long the seated ones have been waiting and what they have run up.
- Counter sales and table service
- Move an order to another table
- Covers per table

- 02
Send it to the kitchen
Tap items off your menu to build the order and send it. The kitchen gets a ticket per table and ticks lines off as they go out.
- Kitchen tickets by station
- A note on any line, like less spicy
- Ready shows on the floor

- 03
Bill it properly
Service charge, 13% VAT and round-off are worked out for you. Every bill gets an invoice number, and the buyer's name and PAN go on it when they ask.
- Cash, QR or credit, with change worked out
- Split a bill, void a line with a reason, issue a credit note
- Print on an 80mm roll or A4 through the phone's print dialog, or share it

- 04
Close the day
Money in and out lands in the day book as it happens, so the drawer and the phone agree at closing. The owner sees how today went before asking anyone.
- Cash book, purchases and suppliers
- Sales by item, VAT summary, stock, profit and loss
- Dates in Bikram Sambat

And the rest of the shop.
- Customers and khata
- Regulars with phone numbers and what each one owes. Sell on credit and clear it when they pay.
- Membership tiers
- Give regulars a tier and their discount comes off the bill by itself.
- Menu and stock
- Your items and prices, stock counts, and a warning when something runs low.
- Owners, managers, staff
- Each gets their own sign-in. Staff sell; expenses and reports stay with owners and managers.
- Keeps going offline
- The app says when it is offline and sends the waiting sales once the line is back.
- Nepali or English
- Every screen in either language.
- Sign in your way
- Email, Google or Apple. An optional app lock uses the phone's fingerprint, face or PIN.
- Phone or tablet
- The same app on the counter tablet and the waiter's phone.
Already on Chiya Connect? Claim your shop.
Players check in at tea shops that are already listed. Find yours in the app, send your business registration or PAN, and once our team checks it the listing is yours.
From then on you keep its menu and photos up to date, and the regulars who check in are the people you are billing.
What it does not do yet.
- It does not sync bills to IRD or CBMS. The invoices carry your PAN and VAT for your own filing.
- It does not take card or QR payments itself. You record how the customer paid; the money goes straight to you.
- There is no barcode scanning. Items are picked from your menu.
Put your counter on it.
Connect for Biz is in testing with its first tea shops. Questions first? The support page has the common ones.
